She had a quirky sense of humor, often laughing at her own jokes and creating a warm, inviting atmosphere for her friends and family. Her zest for life was evident in her many hobbies; she loved engaging in crossword puzzles, board games, and card games. Theresa was a vibrant member of her community, enjoying shopping and outdoor activities, especially swimming. She cherished spending time with loved ones during group sit-downs.
Theresa took great pride in her role as a mother, always encouraging her children, Travis and Makayla, to pursue education and uphold strong moral values. Her legacy will live on through her family, including her dad, Gregory Schutrum, her step-mother, Judith (Edney) Schutrum; two brothers, Christopher Sickmen and wife Anne, Greg Jr. Schutrum and wife Sarah; two sisters, Krystal (Holms) Reed, Tabathia Strack and husband Robert; and her beloved grandchild, Jahseh Thompson along with her nieces, nephews and other family members; and lifelong friends which she considered extended family, Marvin and Angela Wells.
