Robin Michelle Spencer, affectionately known as "Red Bird" or "Birdie," passed away on Monday, April 7, 2025, in Temple, Texas, at the age of 46. Born on January 17, 1979, in Corpus Christi, Texas, Robin was a vibrant spirit whose zest for life touched the hearts of everyone she met.

She devoted over 17 years of her career to Corpus Christi Medical Center within Heart Hospital as a staffing clerk, where her caring nature and dedication shone brightly. Following the passing of her father, Wayne Spencer, Robin made the heartfelt decision to move to Temple, where she continued to serve the community as a front desk receptionist for a hotel chain. Her journey led her to work at Kmart in Portland until 2024, at which time she moved in with her beloved mother, Jody Spencer, in Temple.

Robin's education laid a strong foundation for her career; she graduated from King High School in Corpus Christi, where she was an active participant in kickball as a member of the Bluebonnets. She later furthered her education at Ashcraft College, pursuing an accounting degree. Her accomplishments were not solely measured in titles or jobs but in the love she shared with her family and friends.

Her personality was as colorful as her nickname suggests. Robin was a true "daddy's girl," often enjoying outdoor activities such as hunting and fishing with friends. She was known for her fun-loving and caring demeanor, always ready to bring joy to any gathering. Her vibrant life in Corpus Christi was filled with laughter and cherished memories. Robin was a foodie but especially loved her Pizza and her mommas' chocolate cake.

Robin had a profound love for her family, especially her mother, with whom she treasured precious moments scrapbooking. She also enjoyed the thrill of watching scary movies and had a special place in her heart for animals, lovingly caring for her three dogs, Trixie, Buster, and Peanut.

In addition to her mother, Jody Spencer, Robin is survived by her aunt, Charlotte Miller of Baytown, Texas, and several cousins: Joy Madjerich of Woodstock, Georgia; Gena Curtis of Virginia; Pam Fox of Florida; Ben Fox and Catie Miller of Baytown, Texas; Lisa Miller of Austin, Texas; and Matthew Miller of Pflugerville, Texas along with her three lifelong friends; Peggy Jo "PJ" Dixon, Michelle Lainhart, Holly Smelser, and Catherine Smith.

Robin's legacy will live on in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing her. She is preceded in death by her father, Wayne Spencer, and her aunt, Barbara Fox.
