Services for Robert Morales, 81, of Temple, are being held at Our Lady Of Guadalupe Catholic Church on Saturday, April 15, 2023 at 10:00 am with Father Amado officiating. Burial will follow to family ranch in Menard, Texas.

Robert Morales died on Sunday, April 9, 2023 at a local hospital.

Robert Morales was born Feb. 9th 1942 in Menard, Texas. to the late F. James Santiago Sr. and Andrea Rodriguez Morales.

Robert attended elementary school in Menard, Texas. and St. Mary's Catholic school in San Angelo, Texas. Mr. Morales retired from Texas Hydraulics.  Robert loved to hunt on his ranch south of Ft. Mckavett, Texas.  He also enjoyed fishing, roller skating, and a good boxing match and listening to Elvis Presley music.

Robert is preceded in death by his parents, F. James Sr. and Andrea R. Morales; three Brothers; Alfred F. Morales, James Jr. Morales, and Rudy Morales; two sisters; Magdalena M. Little and Betty Jean Pawelek; two sons; Randy Morales and Rusty Morales; two Granddaughters; Claudia C. Rodriguez and Laura M. Rodriguez.

Robert is survived by his wife, Maria Morales; Sisters; Theresa M. Dela Rosa and Ofilia M. Walker (Dwayne); Sons; Jaime Rodriguez, Robert M. Morales, Manuel Rodriguez, Rodney M. Morales; Daughters; Denisse A. Morales, Renee A. Morales, & Victoria Rodriguez; along with multiple grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins to carry in his legend.

Visitation will be held at Young's Daughters Funeral Home on Friday, April 14, 2023 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm with a Rosary starting at 7:00pm with Deacon Barney officiating.

Arrangements are made under the direction of Sabrina N. Young of Young's Daughters Funeral Home and Bereavement Center.
