Phyllis Kay Ford died on Monday, October 18, 2021 at a local hospital.

Phyllis Kay Ford was born on May 12, 1957 to Theodore Johnson and Dixie McQueen Ford in Honolulu, Hawaii. She graduated from high school and furthered her education by obtaining a cosmetology certificate and then a degree as a Licensed Vocational Nurse. She worked for Thrive as a pediatric nurse. Her proudest moments was always with her children and grandchildren. She loved a good sale while shopping! Her hobbies included quilting and knitting blankets. She ensured everyone in her family had a handcrafted blanket.

She is preceded in death by her parents; one brother, David Johnson, and a sister, Sherrie Wertz.

Those left to cherish her memories are her two sons, David Stimmell and wife Billie Jean, Steven Hunt and wife Mandy; one daughter, April Woodrum and husband Timothy, one brother, James Johnson and wife Elizabeth, one sister, Sheila Jones along with nine grandchildren, Justin Stimmell, Tommy Bates, Jacob Hunt, Chace Stimmell, Alexis Allgaues, Braedyn Stimmell, Kaylee Stimmell, Bronson Hunt and Bryanna Hunt and two great grandchildren, Braxton Stimmell and MaKaylah Stimmell.
