Nia Marie Rea

Pet: Nia Marie Rea, 11, Pitbull, of Temple, services were held privately at bedside with her family and friends. Prayer offered by Pet Director, Mrs. Sabrina N. Young. Cremation to follow with inurnment. 

Nia Marie Rea passed away on Tuesday, July 12, 2022 @ 7:00pm at her home surrounded by her family. 

Nia M. Rea was born on November 24, 2011 in Bell County. Nia wore a beautiful brown and white fur coat. Her personality will be remembered as loving and playful. She enjoyed having her squeaky toy's! She was attentive to her grandpa. When he would take the trash out she knew it was her time to go outside with him, she also went and checked the mail with him daily. When he came home from the store she also knew it was treat time. She loved waiting by the window waiting for grandma to get home from work. She loved having her "Sisters" come over to visit. She would let her momma Angie know when they arrived. Nia would show off her new toys to the guest and even showed too much affection by licking excessively, which the family will all miss. She was an in-house girl who enjoyed the air conditioning but occasionally would sunbathe outside. Nia grew up with her pet sister Pookie, the cat. Together they had fun and Nia couldn't control her affection for her sister. It was noted when Pookie would have wet fur licked by Nia. 

Nia is survived by her human mother, Angie Marie Rea; grandparents, Mary and Charles Rea; two siblings, Trinity Mainer, Dominic Mainer; one uncle, Allan Rea and wife Sandy of Ohio; one aunt, Tressa Besserman and husband Harold of Illinois; 7 niece's & nephew's; 7 great niece's and nephew's and her pet sister, Pookie.
