Nada Elizabeth Warren

Services for Nada Elizabeth Warren, 94, of Troy will be held at 2:00 P.M. on August 12, 2022 at Young’s Daughters Funeral Home chapel with Don Lentz officiating.

Nada Warren died on Sunday, August 07, 2022 at a local hospital.

Nada was born on May 13, 1928 to Charlie and Bertha Hill in Leedale, Texas. She grew up in Temple, where she met the love of her life William Warren. She lived in Cameron, Texas before planting her roots in Troy, Texas 26 years ago. Nada was a member of Grace Baptist Church in Temple and loved to listen to church music along with some country music. She liked going to church and baking fresh cookies for the missionaries and tending to her flower beds. Nada had unconditional love for her children, grandchildren and great grandchild so much that she would do anything for them. All Nada wanted was to see everyone happy and do well. She welcomed everyone with open arms. Best of all Nada would not hesitate to give your hiney a spanking when you needed it.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband William Warren; a son, Terry Warren; four brothers, Herschel Hill, M.C. Hill, Orval Hill, & Frank Hill; and a son-in-law, David Hoffpauir.

Nada is survived by one son, Jerry Warren & wife Joyce of Troy; a daughter, Lori Hoffpauir of Troy; two sisters, Vera Rewolinski of Temple & Juanita Brower of Hersey, MI; five grandchildren, one step grandchild, fifteen great grandchildren & one great-great grandchild.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 - 8:00 P.M. at the Kaverly chapel on Thursday, August 11, 2022 at Young's Daughters Funeral Home.

Arrangements are in the care of Sabrina Young with Young’s Daughters Funeral Home & Bereavement Center in Temple.
