Following these traits, Brian became a skilled mechanic and Auto Body Technician, spending two decades employed at Garcia Paint & Body.

Brian's personality was characterized by a straightforward and dominant presence. He was a man of few words, but his intentions were always clear; he valued his privacy and personal space deeply. While he was baptized as a Baptist, he had a personal relationship with God that was significant to him.

Those who knew Brian can attest to his passion for meals rich in meat. Amongst his favorites were bacon and eggs, Chicken Fried Steak, baked beans, or other hearty dishes, he found joy in creating satisfying meals. He also had a creative side, enjoying playing his guitar, and had a fondness for fishing and building model cars. His love for all things automotive extended to restoring and fabricating vehicles, and he remained a loyal fan of the Dallas Cowboys. Additionally, he found joy in watching old western shows, which added to the treasured memories of his life.

In matters of the heart, one of Brian's proudest accomplishments was his deep love for his wife, Julie (Madison) Holladay. The couple met in 1989 through a mutual friend, and their romance blossomed when Brian fell in love with Julie's daughter,Elizabeth. With her blessing, he proposed in 1999, and together they created a family that brought him immense joy. His two daughters, Jamie Holladay-Crabtree and spouse Steven Crabtree, and Elizabeth Lytle were the lights of his life, alongside his five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. His faithful dog, Skitzer, shared a special bond with Brian that was filled with companionship, symbolizing the warmth and loyalty he cherished in his relationships.

Brian's journey through life came to a peaceful close on Friday, April 18, 2025, when he went to his heavenly home. He is remembered by his loving wife, daughters, brothers Mark Holladay and James Holladay, as well as his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
