Kittums Goven, 15, of Temple, Texas has passed away on Friday, November 1, 2024 in Temple, Texas surrounded by his family.
Kittums was born in 2009 in San Antonio, Texas and was rescued at 5 weeks old by Stuart and adopted in 2016 by Matt.
From the beginning Kittums lived a lifestyle fit for a king, quickly becoming a people person although he needed approval first from Stuart. He loved to open cabinets and knock things over such as Matt's glasses or items on the table. He would often chase his tail in the bathtub and would have zoomies all throughout the day. When he wasn't being watched he became very sneaky, to which he became the "Guard Dog" of their family. He would watch the squirrels passing by their window sill. He would be rewarded with cheetos, fritos, whipped cream, fried chicken, tuna treats, and much more. When Matt would get up he would quickly replace his spot to sit next to his Dad.
A special thank you to Banfield Veterinarian, vet-techs and assistants
He is survived by his Dad, Stuart; Adopted Dad, Matt; His Grandparents, Paul and Becky; Father and Mother In-Law, Timothy and Vanessa; and his Aunt, Sharon.
Arrangements are under the care of Young's Daughters Funeral Home and Bereavement Center.
