Services for Judy Lee Phillips Tompkins, 69, of Killeen will be held in Young’s Daughters Chapel on Thursday, April 8, 2021 at 3:00 pm with burial to follow at North Belton Cemetery. Judy died on Saturday, April 3, 2021 in her home.
Judy Lee Tompkins was born on December 24, 1951 to Weldon Phillips and Celia Lee Jones in Seagraves, Texas. She graduated in 1970 from Killeen High School and furthered her education as a Medical Transcriptionist. Judy worked for Baylor Scott and White for twenty-seven years until her retirement. She became a proud young mother in 1972, moved to Belton, Texas in 1970 and lived there for forty years before moving to Killeen, Texas.
Survivors include her son,Clinton Tompkins and wife Machell; a daughter, Teresa Tompkins, three brothers, Weldon Royce Phillips and wife Debbie of Round Rock, Larry Phillips and wife Marcia of Austin, and Chris Phillips of Killeen, along with five grandchildren; Denise Renee Decker, Koleton Robert Lee Thorp, Veronica Lee Anne Dossey, Brandon Lee Tompkins, Corey Pruyne and two great-grandchildren; Wyatt Elliott Feild and Christian Lee Decker.
Judy is preceded in death by her parents and one great grandchild.
Services are in the care of Young's Daughters Funeral Home and Bereavement Center in Temple, Texas.
