Jose Jesus Montalbo

Services for Jose Jesus Montalbo, 75, of Rogers will be held  at 10:00 am on Wednesday, July 7, 2021 at Young's Daughters Funeral Home. Burial will follow to Rogers Cemetery.

Jose Jesus Montalbo died on June 20, 2021 at a local hospital. 

Jose Jesus Montalbo was born on February 29, 1948 to Jesus Jose Montalbo and Natividad Barela in Cameron, Texas. He married the love of his life Vicky Hernandez and together they started their family.  He was raised as a farmer for 20 years and then worked in construction for Emerson. He found his calling as a Pastor and served the Lord through missionary work and music ministry. He loved playing his guitar and spending time with his family. He loved "junkin" along with his western movies and listening to Christian music. His wish was to pass along the Love of God. His values were God, Family and his church in that order. 

He is preceded in death by his parents, a daughter, Sue Ellen Lopez; four brothers, Domingo Montalbo Sr., John Montalbo, Jenaro Montalbo, Phillip Montalbo, one sister, Beatrice Hernandez. 

Survivors include wife of 53 years, Vicky Montalbo; one son, Joe Montalbo Jr. and wife Chelsea Montalbo, one son in-law Ivan Lopez; three brothers, Sammy Montalbo and wife Dorie, Daniel Montalbo and wife Kris, Lino Montalbo; three sisters, Mary Montalbo, Virginia Salas, and husband Manuel, Lucy Morales; a brother-in-law, Humberto Hernandez; sister-in-law, Angie; along with six grandchildren, Austin, Joe Angel, Nayeli, Alex, Mayeli, Dallas and one great granddaughter, Tinley. 

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 6, 2021 at Young's Daughters Funeral Home from 6:00 - 9:00 pm.
