James Allen Taylor,

James Allen Taylor, affectionately known as Jim, passed at his home on Monday, December 9, 2024, surrounded by his family. He was 60 years old, having been born on August 26, 1964, Norwich, Connecticut to Mr. Eldon Joseph Taylor and Bernadette H. (Cote) Taylor

Jim dedicated a significant part of his life to the construction industry while living in New Hampshire, where he played a vital role in building hotels and other notable structures. In December of 1990, he met Terry Wallace and together they had a set of twins, Ivy and Tyler.  His career was impacted by a hazardous event and a hunting accident that left him disabled; however, this did not deter his spirit. In the early 1990s, Jim moved to Florida, where he embraced various jobs and continued with resilience until 1996, when he moved in with his brother, Joe.

He graduated from St. Johnsbury Academy in St. Johnsbury, Vermont, Jim also pursued higher education at a college. Throughout his life, he was known for his happy-go-lucky personality, characterized by a readiness to help others, a sharp wit, and a keen sense of humor. Jim was frugal, often on the lookout for a good deal, and valued privacy, preferring to mind his own business rather than meddle in others' affairs.

Among his numerous passions, Jim was an avid beekeeper and enjoyed the art of building various creations including windmills, airplanes, sheds, and greenhouses. His handcrafted goods found homes at local flea markets, showcasing his dedication and creativity. Additionally, he enjoyed indulging in Facebook gaming and testing his luck with computer gambling games.

Jim was profoundly proud of his family, cherishing his children, Ivy Wallace and Tyler Wallace, as well as his six beloved grandchildren: Esparanza Oyola, Milo Oyola, Arya Wallace, Aiden Wallace, Ronan Wallace, and Rome Wallace. He showered his mother, Bernadette H. (Cote) Taylor, with love and devoted over 20 years to caring for her, a testament to the strong family bonds he nurtured. He is also survived by his two brothers, John Taylor and Joe Taylor, and his two sisters, Judy Taylor and Joan Taylor.

He is preceded in death by his father, Eldon Joseph Taylor.

In remembrance of his life, a visitation will be held at 3:00 pm and service will begin at 5:00 pm on Tuesday, December 17, 2024, at Young’s Daughter Funeral Home in Temple Cremation to follow with interment at Great House Cemetery at a later date.

Jim's legacy of love, resilience, and laughter will continue to touch the lives of those who were fortunate to know him. He has earned his crowns in heaven, having left a lasting impact through his caring spirit and dedication to family.
