George Bradley Boggs

George Bradley Boggs, born on July 31, 1961, peacefully passed away on July 13, 2023, in Killeen, Texas. He was a hardworking and resilient individual who left an indelible mark on the communities he called home.

George began his career as a self-employed roofer in North Carolina, where he honed his skills and built a reputation for excellence. Seeking new opportunities, he later moved to Killeen, Texas, where he dedicated another two decades of his life to various positions before eventually retiring. George's commitment and tenacious work ethic were evident throughout his professional journey.

Though George did not have a traditional educational background, he was determined to overcome any obstacles that stood in his way. With unwavering determination, he obtained his GED, showcasing his thirst for knowledge and personal growth.

Born in Kentucky, George's roots played an integral part in shaping the person he became. His upbringing instilled in him a strong sense of family and community values that guided him throughout his life. George always had a special fondness for his birthplace and cherished the memories of his formative years there.

Surrounded by love until the end of his days, George was preceded in death by his parents. Their spirits will forever watch over him from above.

George's memory will be forever cherished by those closest to him. He leaves behind his beloved wife of 12 years, Dorothy Barnes, whose unwavering support and profound love brought joy to George's life every day. Together they shared precious moments and created lasting memories.

Rick Boggs is George's brother who stood as a pillar of strength throughout their lives. The bond between the brothers was unbreakable and filled with countless shared experiences that will live on in Rick's heart.

George had the privilege of watching another generation grow as he took on the role of a proud grandfather to Elijah Schmitt. George's love for his grandson was immeasurable, and his legacy will live on through Elijah's future endeavors.

George Bradley Boggs will always be remembered as a devoted husband, a loving brother, and a doting grandfather. His strong work ethic and determination to overcome challenges were truly inspiring. The impact he made on the lives of those around him is immeasurable, and his presence will be deeply missed.

As we reflect on George's life, let us remember the lessons he taught us – to never give up in the face of adversity, to cherish our loved ones fiercely, and to approach every day with unwavering determination.
