Dennis Alan Augsburger

Services for Dennis Alan Augsburger, 74, of Copperas Cove are pending with Young's Daughters Funeral Home and Bereavement Center in Temple, Tx. 

Dennis Alan Augsburger died on Sunday, February 6, 2022 at a nursing home in Copperas Cove. 

Dennis A. Augsburger was born on December 17, 1947 to Charles Ervin Augsburger and Marie Greene Augsburger in Lima, Ohio. Growing up he was the youngest of his four siblings.  He graduated from high school and was drafted into the Navy for Vietnam. He was a raised Catholic. He married Rebecca Gomez in 1969 and together they started their family. They lived in Ohio and majority of their lives in San Diego, CA.  He was a proud father to his son, and two daughters. The family enjoyed the the simple things such as fishing, and family time. He was a handworker and worked for a college as a custodian for 30 years. He began his own private practice for home health till his final retirement. 

He is survived by his son, Dennis C. Augsburger and wife Maria Cris Augsburger; two daughters, Natalie Marie Cacho and Suzette Perkins. 

Family would like to thank Compassus Hospice for their care.
