Chase Bradley Pyle

2007 — 2025

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Chase Bradley Pyle, a beloved companion and cherished member of the family, who left us on February 4, 2025, at the tender age of 18.

Born in 2007, Chase was not just any dog; he was a spirit that brought immense joy and unconditional love into the lives of all who had the fortune to know him. His journey with the Pyle family began when he was only 1½ years old. They came across him on Craigslist, and from the moment they first laid eyes on him, it was as if he had been waiting for them all along. When he rushed out to greet them, it felt as if he were saying, "Where have you been? I've been waiting on you!" That moment marked the beginning of a heartwarming bond that would last for many wonderful years.

Chase was a remarkable little chihuahua, defying the typical demeanor often associated with his breed. He had a heart full of affection, never once growling or showing aggression—all he offered was love and loyalty. His sweet nature endeared him to everyone he met, and it is no wonder he became the center of many cherished memories. Whether it was his playful antics or the simple joy of snuggling with his loved ones, Chase had a unique way of making each moment special.

Throughout his life, Chase faced challenges that would scare even the bravest among us. He survived a coyote attack, demonstrating his resilience and strength. Chase also had a curious spirit, famously sneaking out to explore the road, an adventure that would include a narrow escape after "sampling" some antifreeze. Yet, through it all, he remained a steadfast and loving companion.

Chase is survived by his devoted human parents, Will and Amy Pyle, as well as his beloved siblings, Megan and Will. He held a special place in the hearts of his nephew Elijah, who affectionately called him "Pickles," his niece Lennox, and his dog sister Molly. Additionally, Chase will be missed by numerous family members and friends whose lives he touched.

Despite the diagnosis of cancer just three months before his passing, Chase faced his final days with the same grace and courage that defined his character. A private burial will be held to honor his memory, as his family reflects on the incredible joy and love he brought into their lives.

As we bid farewell to this sweet little dog, let us remember the countless moments of happiness he gifted us and celebrate the impact he had on our lives. In Chase’s memory, those who wish to honor his spirit are encouraged to support Journey Home Rescue, another animal shelter, or Young's Daughters Funeral Home.

Chase Bradley Pyle may no longer be with us, but the warmth of his spirit will forever remain in our hearts. He was, and always will be, a true treasure.
